Ntuc enhanced incomeshield got different tiers. Preferred, advantage, basic and enhanced c. Preferred best tier, stay private, enhance c worst. Basically they just rename the plan b to like advantage or basic

INCOMESHIELD PLAN B

my mom is under incomeshield plan A (old) and I will likely help her to downgrade to Enhanced Basic (new) and hope can add a rider plus.

The Enhanced (new) entitled pre and post hospitalization treatment and can opt in riders whereas the old plan does not eligible to have.

Myself is insured with Enhanced Advantage and regret not getting the rider last time and decide to opt in soon. I am planning to opt in the Prime Eldershield which less ppl consider on this.

think of jump ship but in the end i think ntuc is slightly cheaper n better.

If i compare
AXA Shield (Standard Plan)
with
Enhanced IncomeShield Basic (Restructured hospital for ward class B1 and below)
NTUC win

AXA Shield Plan B is like NTUC Enhanced IncomeShield Advantage

Stay B1 can liao hor ?

i no $$ to upgrade higher like A ward

see how old you are and premiums. ntuc is cheap but heard claim process long. you pay first and they reimburse you. if can afford preferred then go for it ba, some injury no need stay hospital can go private ask them admit then can claim.

u get rider u no need pay yes but you pay the whole fee first from your pocket, then claim from ntuc understand? and that takes time.

the premiums as in if you young can afford then take preferred la since withdrawal limits can cover the shield plan itself using medisave..if old find preferred too expensive then go lower the tier lor cause older the shield also need take out cash pay le

also if want jump ship make sure your mum nv develop any condition *touchwood* to be uninsurable due to medical underwriting.

aviva has this moratorium underwriting can check it out.

if want cheap -> ntuc

Do I need my mom to sign on spot with the agent there to witness? As if I did not remember wrongly when I first sign up for my mom, I don't need my mom to be there. Just got her to sign @ home can liao.

My mom had a old mindset so ask her to sign this type of policy is like curse her like that..
