See linkedin ppl apply already alot le, excluding direct apply from offical website and campus school connection. 1 of the thing most ppl never consider is school connection with big tech company. I am not NUS, but i can say from digipen , digipen did not have good connection with big tech company like meta , google (even got previous digipen professor work there), amazon.

The paper reporting high pay software is only a few. I really don't think a fresh graduate can earn so much at the start. If u go Job street, u can roughly found out the starting salary of a software engineer. In the line, u need to prove that u can do coding. It's very different in other engineering field. It's a tough job for sure.
