Hi all,

I got an offer from NUS Information Systems.

I studied accountancy in Poly and have no programming background.

I read around online that I need to brush up on my presentation and programming skills (such as C++).

How can I prepare myself better for this course?

I'm afraid that I can't catch up with the rest with poly programming experience.

Thanks a lot!

You won't need C++ for IS.
No programming background got CS1010 (CS1010E if you are so damn hardcore) for you.

My advice? Enjoy before you come in. You won't get a similar chance once you step inside this hole.

Hi,

I from similar background as TS, except I am from local poly with a business dip.
Could anyone from SOC or are currently in IS advise on the percentage of programming module in this degree course?
AND
Could anyone in SOC/IS with no initial programming background share your experiences in studying this degree course?
Thank you
