not correct, nvme ports are still pcie slots at the end of the day. i personally run a m key to e key adapter on my nvme only slot for a pcie wifi card and it works fine, and ive seen people use a nvme slot as a pcie x4 interface for egpu. i dont think ts will have an issue using this nvme adapter, but i agree that using a regular pcie card is a safer bet.
Thanks.
I read on Reddit that r/w speed will get very slow if too many SATA HDD are connected to it. If slot into pci-e x1, won't there be data congestion if I've 5 HDD connected?
Thanks.

Which is why upgrade to a better motherboard with 6 SATA port will be better as these expansion
will have it's limitation especially the controller.
Motherboard wise the Southbridge handles the SATA thus it will faster.
Like MSI B550M-Mortar Max Wifi has 6 SATA port compare with the Pro-vdh only 4.
How well these add on card perform you have to test.
You have to look around for the MSI Mortar as I know can be hard to find.
