Obsolete Program From Iphone 4 to Iphone SE/6/7

Hi,

My friend was using an Iphone 4 with an obsoleted game (FIFA15) and wanted to upgrade to newer Iphone (SE/6/7) with latest IOS. He worried that this game that is no more in Apps Store will not be able to bring over to his newer phone with latest IOS through iTune.
Anyone can advise will this obsoleted game be able to work if he get the newer phone and sync everything through iTune ？

I don't think anyone here will know until one runs that app on the latest iOS.

If your friend has synced all his past purchases on his iTunes computer, then he can try restoring the content onto a newer iPhone and test the app.

If he has not synced his purchases before, then the app will be gone when restoring to a new device.

backup the app ipa file first

den before restoring in new device, copy the .ipa file to the current itunes folder
