this is indeed kind of the bank. probably pressured by sg gov and public sentiments.

however this sets a bad precedence even though some "experts" say no....

sinkies will continue to be fools to be scammed with the comfort that there will be someone who will bail them out.

rem today its ocbc, wat abt tomorrow? dbs? sing power? singtel?

never forget this cost by the victims will be passed back to other consumers. ocbc wont deduct this from their management wallets, it will be taken back from customers one way or another. so guess wat? its the non scammed ocbc customers who are footing the bill now.
