Hey guys. Has anyone been employed in OCBC as a PFC before? Can you share some of my questions?
1. Working culture (Very political, good support from branch manager, training?)
2. Are the limits unreasonable? (Im willing to work 8-9pm everyday, I am a hard worker but I can get burnt out.. )
3. What are the career prospects if I decided to switch departments after 3-4 years in wealth management. What about 20 years down the road.. I'm sure most bankers would have changed jobs by then? I dont want to be stuck as a branch manager for my life..
4. My mandarin is horrible. I come from an all english speaking school. Am I really at a MAJOR disadvantage?
Reason why im asking is that im deciding between a career as a big 4 auditor (got offered alrdy) starting pay 2.8, yearly bonus 1.5 months, avg pay after 5 years is 5.3k or front line banking..
Thanks and hopefully you can reply!
