XT disc levers + rapidfire = 256g + 255g = 511g
XTR disc levers + rapidfire = 192g + 215g = 407g

Which is not a bad idea to use sram. Sram is not bad, comparable with Shimano, and considering how expensive Shimano is these days.

I'm already on Sram, next upgrade will be PG980 cassette.

U just start learning cycling and u already wanted to cycle from yr home to NUS???

U better learn how to balance yrself properly and learn to ride on tight lanes / cycle straight. If not u cycle on pedestrian lane , u will knock down somebody. To be good in cycling tight lanes and maintain straight and turn tight corner properly need at least 1 months of hard practice.

Get those cheap urata single speed $80 will get the job done!

u can perfect ur skill by trying to cycling along:

see the barriers and the edge of the bus stop? btwn there is a space with a yellow line? yes, tats it!

dun cross the bus stop where it is.. try to thread along the space i mentioned.. can train ur agility and balance~

buy cheap cheap ones, kanna stolen also not heart pain
recommend tyres use knobbies, more control

There is one bike shop(forget the name) at clementi near ulu pandan road. Can try that. No need to be urata. I think any cheap brand single speed will do.

One is TWA, price definitely outta ur budget. The other lbs shd have some bikes within ur budget. There's another one along west coast, near ginza plaza.

If not, you wanna try Giant or Carrefour those aleoca bikes also can

Hi, I was wondering where is the best place to get Giant XTC / XTC Team bikes? I know that Tay Cycle is the main distro but I've read that the boss there isn't the nicest person around.
