XT disc levers + XTR rapidfire shifters = 256g + 215g = 471gWhich is better? DCL or Separates???
DCL
XT = 526g/pr
XTR = 442g/pr
Separates
XT disc levers + rapidfire = 256g + 255g = 511g
XTR disc levers + rapidfire = 192g + 215g = 407g
which is better??
Dual or separates?
use SRAM shifters also must use SRAM RD.. cost shifting ratio not same.. FD is ok though..y hoot XTR shifter
consider SRAM X0?
Which is not a bad idea to use sram. Sram is not bad, comparable with Shimano, and considering how expensive Shimano is these days.use SRAM shifters also must use SRAM RD.. cost shifting ratio not same.. FD is ok though..
hey guys, need recommendations.
i just started how to learn cycling, and wanna get a bicycle. so i can cycle from home to my uni (pretty near) and also cycle in the park
any budget bikes to recommend?
Thanks!!

U just start learning cycling and u already wanted to cycle from yr home to NUS???
U better learn how to balance yrself properly and learn to ride on tight lanes / cycle straight. If not u cycle on pedestrian lane , u will knock down somebody. To be good in cycling tight lanes and maintain straight and turn tight corner properly need at least 1 months of hard practice.
Get those cheap urata single speed $80 will get the job done!
i see, how much is Charge Spoon Saddle?

^^"

wusangui >> where??There is one bike shop(forget the name) at clementi near ulu pandan road. Can try that. No need to be urata. I think any cheap brand single speed will do.
One is TWA, price definitely outta ur budget. The other lbs shd have some bikes within ur budget. There's another one along west coast, near ginza plaza.wusangui >> where??
i know there are 2 bike shops @ my hse downstairs (@ clementi ave 2) but not sure abt the pricing.
one seems super ex though.
For newbie, seriously don't try that. Get yr basic right first! ALways proceed at yr manageble speed. If u try that and fall into road, is no laughing matter.
