Why need to forge these documents? What documents in the first place.

Edited: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) will appeal FIFA’s decision over allegations of 'doctored documentation' involving seven new mixed-heritage players in the Harimau Malaya squad.

Oohhh likely about mixed heritage.

All seven players had played in Malaysia's 4-0 win over Vietnam in the third round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers on Jun 10, after which FIFA received a complaint regarding the eligibility of several players.

7 players amdk... sure win bo.

like me said, how come the sudden surge of foreign players into their NT

not just 2 or 3 but more than half of a team

as in either parents are of Msian blud but their other half a foreigner

child born in Msia? then parents migrated

something like that? 🤔

Malaysian players banned after using forged documents to play qualifier against Vietnam

Deportivo Alaves' Facundo Garces was among seven players banned for a year by FIFA on Friday (Sep 26) after the football governing body found that doctored documentation had been used so that they could play in an Asian Cup qualifier for Malaysia against Vietnam.

FIFA's Disciplinary Committee said the seven players - Garces, Gabriel Arrocha of Unionistas de Salamanca, Rodrigo Holgado of America de Cali and Imanol Machuca of Velez Sarsfield, as well as Joao Figueiredo, Jon Irazabal and Hector Hevel of Johor Darul Ta'zim - were sanctioned with a 12-month suspension from all football-related activities.

FIFA said the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) had submitted eligibility enquiries to global football's governing body and used doctored documentation to be able to field the seven players, breaching article 22 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code that is concerned with forgery and falsification.

All seven players had played in Malaysia's 4-0 win over Vietnam in the third round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers on Jun 10, after which FIFA received a complaint regarding the eligibility of several players.

Maybe there was a blackout during the document submission, then the 7 players with the documents suddenly appear on front of the FAM after light come on.

Possible that some very rich malaysian paid these players to play for malaysia and hv the documents forged.

If not why wld so many random footballers suddenly say they want to play for malaysia??

And who is this powerful malaysian?

❌ 7 MALAYSIA PLAYERS BANNED FOR 1 YEAR OVER NATURALISATION SCANDAL

FIFA has issued a 12-month suspension to seven Malaysia players involved in the nationality forgery case:

🔻Gabriel Felipe Arrocha (Unionistas 🇪🇸)
🔻Facundo Tomás Garcés (Deportivo Alavés 🇪🇸)
🔻Rodrigo Julián Holgado (América de Cali 🇨🇴)
🔻Imanol Javier Machuca (Atlético Vélez Sarsfield 🇦🇷 )
🔻João Vitor Brandão Figueiredo (Johor Darul Ta’zim 🇲🇾)
🔻Jon Irazábal Iraurgui (Johor Darul Ta’zim 🇲🇾)
🔻Hector Alejandro Hevel Serrano (Johor Darul Ta’zim 🇲🇾)

⚖️ The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) was also fined USD 438,000.

This heavy sanction hits Johor Darul Ta’zim the hardest with three players suspended.

👉 Moreover, AFC is set to annul Malaysia’s 2027 AFC Asian Cup Qualifier result vs Vietnam, which could officially be awarded as a 3-0 win for Vietnam.
