same here. Poor judgement on the part of the moderatorI've reported Chrisloh's posts in the previous threads. It is really disappointing to see that the mods would rather resort to locking threads than to ban him.

In the interest of maintaining the continuity of the thread, perhaps we can all agree to simply ignore/block him.

Yup, all those who don't want to read the posts please put Chris on ignore. Don't ban him unless for clear violation of forum rules.
I strongly agree with you. This is a public forum & we want to hear all different views, not just one-sided views & then trying to silence others from voicing different views.
Looks like the mod is fed up with receiving too many frivolous reporting & these people should reflect on themselves otherwise the thread won't be closed!

I am actually curious as to why the mods locked the previous thread.
Everyone is asking, but most just assume that the mods made a poor decision even though they don't actually know the real reason why the mods locked it.
If the mods felt that it was indeed just one or two people causing trouble, then I agree with most that the best solution would be to just ban those folks.
The fact that the mods chose to lock the thread instead seems to indicate that they didn't think that 1 or 2 folks was just the problem.
I really am curious to know the reason behind the lock.
Maybe mods view it as a difference of opinions but yet overwhelming number of ppl reporting him ?
But this is forum after all so sharing of opinions cannot be banned.
I also curious to the real reasons. That’s the only reason I can think of for now.
Starting to get obvious this is also chrisloh's account.
Same view here.
What is worse is that when we make impartial comments here, you start seeing accusations that we are all accounts of chris

Means Newbie (like me) before posting here must read the book & all the pages here first? Scary!
Not doing so mean no way for us to know what is fundamental principle we can't violate.
Guess I wasn't the only one with these suspicions. They talk about identical topics and hold identical viewpoints.
What is more interesting is streetfighter's very first post:
It is rather baffling that the first post a new user makes is not to seek advice or provide comments, but to go on a rampage regarding a book in an esoteric thread called "Shiny Things".
