yup. Usually it's open to the public, unless stated.
You can also go to any of 5 blood banks.
Just make sure you have plenty of water, rest well and you should be good. Don't fall sick!

Yup. Few days ago news also reported yet another drop of people donating blood. This also coincides with flu / covid season when people defer donation. Regular donors should try to donate before going on their trips.

Channel 8 is reporting on blood donation again.
Last year saw a rise in blood donors.
We need more young donors. Debunk the myths of blood donation. News said alot scared pain so never donate, that's false. Im going for my 66th this friday

本地青年捐血率微降4% 红十字会推创新宣传吸引年轻人
本地整体捐血者人数去年上升，16到25岁的青年捐血者却略微下降占14%，达1万835名，同比则减少4%。为吸引更多年轻人捐血，红十字会将通过更有趣，更贴近年轻人的方式宣传捐血。

本地整体捐血者人数去年上升，16到25岁的青年捐血者却略微下降占14%，达1万835名，同比则减少4%。为吸引更多年轻人捐血，红十字会将通过更有趣，更贴近年轻人的方式宣传捐血。
20岁的蔡正宇趁着下午的空档，跟父亲一同前往多美歌血库捐血。这也是他第一次捐血。
年轻献血者蔡正宇说：“这是我朋友介绍的，所以我是跟着他，他说也不痛所以我决定来。如果看着那支针的话会感觉痛因为其实挺大的，但是感觉上其实不是那么大，所以还好。尽量吧,如果有空的话肯定会来的。”
红十字会指出，不少青年误以为捐血过程疼痛，但专业人员会为捐血者局部麻醉，将疼痛降到最低。不少年轻人因为忙于学业、缺乏兴趣，或刚踏入职场难以养成固定捐血的习惯。
红十字会去年在面向青年的捐血活动中同花生漫画、ARTBOX创意市集，甚至是粉丝俱乐部合作，借由流行文化的力量吸引年轻人参与捐血。
红十字会去年就通过同花生漫画、创意市集等，吸引年轻人捐血。配合世界献血者日，红十字会将在6月底，邀请韩国嘻哈舞蹈团演出，6月中将启动首个青年献血宣传计划比赛。
新加坡红十字会献血者计划主任陈佩珊说：“我们希望他们可以分享他们的想法，以及他们的计划如何能继续把我们的献血计划发展得更多。年轻人能一起上前来，认识多一点知识，而且也可以成为献血者。”
随着人口老龄化，我国每年大约流失600名年长的固定捐血者，但用血需求却持续上升。60岁以上人士使用了全岛六成的红血球。如果没有更多年轻人加入捐血，血库可能长期短缺，影响日常医疗和急救服务。
