LTE 4G have different frequency & spec around the world..
So it will be difficult to get Xiaomi to settle one with spec that match SG frequency.. unless they made 1 for HK ... then we are in luck

i have brand new china sim card, if u need, can last u about 8 months by china unicom if u just receive sms , roaming in sg, can receive sms , actually u can even call or sms back just higher price only, inside about 50RMB value, in case u wanna buy some china fones etc need a number , self collect at yishun central or can post to u, s$12 per card, sms at 976-three-three-three-97

Dun understand why they going for Hongmi when there is MotoG. I understand they are catering to the mass-lower income market(eg foreign workers here).

But dun understand why market a new tiong brand like Xiaomi when there is Motorola laojiao brand ard..

Somemore by end of May and June onwards, next gen phones of 2k display, 13-16mp camera with/without optical stabilizer, 2-3gb rams are entering another the market alr.

So if Xiaomi Mi3 flagship model dun enter early and milk the market, very likely will be overshadowed by the better phones..

Yeah, quite disappointing that they are releasing HongMi here, also.

But Mi3 will last a few years because of its specs.

Plus I'm sure they will release another one soon.
