Okinawa itinerary

Hi all,

it's my first time to Okinawa and will be travelling with my spouse with our parents (6 of us in total) in early November.

As we are planning to stay only in main island of Okinawa, I have planned it as follows:

Day 1 (Sun) -
Arrive at Naha airport at 8am
Pick up car and drive up
Lunch at Banju Tei
Zakimi Castle Ruin
Miegusuku Port
Cape Zanpa Lighthouse
Okashigoten Onna
Airbnb near Kouri Island
Dinner at Kouri Shrimp

Day 2
Nakijin Castle Remains
Bise Fukugi Tree Lane
Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
Lunch at Ufuya
Okinawa Ocean Expo park: Okichan Dolphin Show
Kouri Island
Kouri Ocean Tower
Heart Rock
Orion Happy Park (beer factory tour)
Dinner

Day 3
Cape Hedo
Daisekirinzan
Lunch at Eminomise
Busena Marine Park
Dinner at Ganso Sea Grape
Okashigoten Onna to buy food souvenirs

Day 4
Aqualuce Chapel

Lunch at Onna no eki

Do give me some opinions if these are realistic. Do suggest nice food places too. Thanks in advance.

Looks like very packed itinerary

and maybe too ambitious and need further optimization, looks like there are some driving up and down okinawa. Better to plan each day around a cluster of sights/places in the same place to avoid unnecessary backtracking.

e.g.
Day 4 From Cape Manzamo to down to kokusaidori hotel then back up to american village and aeon mall rycom. Btw both american village and aeon mall rycom are big and will not have time to cover in one night.

Day 5 Return car (assuming you are around Naha) then go north again to ginowan

Must try food is Blue Seal ice cream ... they are everywhere and have many flavours

At least half a day at the aquarium.

Unless both sets of parents are very fit and can walk fast and walk a lot, the itinerary will tired them out.

We went to the aquarium. We left the hotel at 7ish 8am. By the time we were done at the aquarium, it was 2ish 3pm.

Could you share the day you went to the aquarium, which places i can still put in the same day?

Any suggestions on the cluster for the itinerary?

In general try to visit places that are near each other or along the way if you are moving from one area to another e.g. change of hotel.

Some of your itinerary like those I pointed out have you going from north to south and then north again on the same day.

Try marking out the places on google map then you can see how you should plan your days without unnecessary backtracks or detours.
