Old DIY pc cant post

Hi all, need some advices here...
My old DIY pc kinda died off, cant even reach the post...so unless i can fix it...if not i am thinking to replace it but not sure what are the stuffs i can salvage?

Motherboard : Asrock B75 Pro3-M (prolly having issue)
CPU : Intel i5-3470 (or maybe this)

Graphic: Hannstar GTX650 ti 2048m gddr5
PSU : FSP Hexa series HE-500v
Rams : 2x Kingston KVR1333D3N9 / 4G

My usage is only surfing website and videos, so should i
1. Send for repair? (Any recommendation? Might have to find Nigel)
2. Salvage whatever i could and build a new DIY?
3. Buy a branded PC like aftershock?

Just stick to your old rig probably just a faulty mobo that needs to be replaced and it will work fine. Your current rig is good enough for your usage.
Buy aftershock or new diy system from PC themes only if you got no budget constraints or if 1k 2k sgd is nothing to you and you want to avoid the hassle of troubleshooting.

Can send to Nigel check which part is faulty if you dunnoe how then replace the parts accordingly buy either from taobao or carousell or new replacement parts from sim lim lazada.

Actually i buy a similar from taobao and swap the mobo, but it works for a few month and face the same issue again...i was wondering if my parts still ok to use or outdated already.

It depends and you should decide it yourself. I suggest getting a new one.

If this is the case, might be power supply.

A faulty PSU with high ripple could possibly kill a motherboard.

Oh...always tot psu enough watts can liao..dint know high ripple will cause such a issue

Maybe have to change psu also

For video and surf internet don't invest too much, just get those branded micro size pc from acer or asus, save you the trouble.

Btw, what is high ripple ?

I can only think of the following hardware failure. Time to replace ba~

1) Motherboard
2) Ram or Processor

Better get a 3in1 to move forward. PSU should get new too.

Just buy replacement motherboard from lazada. Your requirements quite low.

Bought replacement before, but lasted for a few months only...maybe have to get a new psu too
