UK hab 50% boosted + they are in full endemic mode since July, their general community immunity ish relatively high.
Not so much about Omicron being mild, in the same article, it stated that to unvax uninfected ppl, it was only ~10% milder.

For those who are vulnerable or hab waned immunity would still be very much in danger, as ish the risk or crash load in healthcare if massive spread occurs over a short time.:o
