Hi guys

My Pc boots, monitor no signal. Changed brand new GPU, change from vga to dvi to hdmi cable all no signal. Connect monitor to laptop via vga cable it works. Brought pc to shop connect to other monitor it works.

At my wits end - anybody can recommend good repairman?

Could it be your mobo still using any integrated graphics?

Need to set in BIOS to select the discrete GPU instead?

No signal from mobo dvi to monitor either...

Amazing but I fixed the problem. Take out ram, blow clean, reinstall ram. Have no idea why it worked but am not complaining.

Another possibility is whether your new discrete GPU requires a 6 pin PCIE power connector from your PSU. Did you remember to plug it in if required?

Also is your PSU wattage enough to power up your new discrete GPU?

Haha... yea, taking out the ram and re-inserting it does do the trick at times. Most likely it clear out the dust that may be clogging the ram slot of the MB or clear out the problematic temp memory that is cached inside the RAM, therefore enable the system to reboot normally.
