Hi, I visited the medical officer in Tekong due to back pain & I was given 14 days MC & 84 days light duty. Then I was referred to a specialist. When I see the specialist she checked me & declared me fit.

And then I came back and canceled my light duty, and CO said go and report sick again if I have that back pain because it's serious issue. I started training, I had the back pain again, now feeling sharp pain in my spine. It feels like the nerves are hitting me. And I could not run or do push up. I can't even stand up straight. I am relying on painkillers. I am going to report sick again tomorrow, and my orthopedic appointment is in another 1 week.

My question is, will I recourse if I'm Out Of Training? Or just get posted to vocational job?

Thank you.

Basic rule of thumb is OOC if <70% participation (i.e. >30% of your BMT period with status) during BMT. They'll probably just post you out to do saikang while you await your new PES status. You'll get back in course (for the respective PES) after they are done re-classifying you.

i always thought it was the other way round where you don't even get to go to the specialist and if you do, the specialist will "waive" you off.
Your case seems like the MO and CO seems more than happy to get you declared unfit.
looks like a change of times.
