Very hard for OPPO to win budget-range as Redmi can offer SD sets at cheaper or same price

Unless the buyer hate the ads in MIUI so much that he rather get budget OPPO MT sets

Not just Oppo, even the other phone mfr-s... they can't beat what Xiaomi is able to squeeze in into their budget range for eg. FHD displays... SD processors and now... even amoled displays...

You're correct. But I think some may not want Xiaomi sets because of the ads and privacy scandals.

So far, Oppo is very clean and has never been accused of secretly collecting data and passing it to servers overseas. Or have ads in their UI

But I really hope that at least Oppo put SD4xx in their budget phones. Xiaomi's budget Redmi series is already SD6xx, if Oppo keep using MTK for budget range, nobody is going to buy

Some people don't mind paying more for privacy but MTK is still behind SD

Yes.. also 2 yrs warranty...
