Haha why? Cos no OIS?
Not really!

Photography, especially video recording is not my priority when choosing phone.

I mostly take still photo shoots.

So, I guess without OIS on the Reno 8 Pro is not a big issue to me.

So again. Will Reno 8 Pro takes better photo than my current S22?

What do you think?

Oh I dunno and dxomark has yet to test out Reno 8 series... in fact they din even rank/review Reno 7 series... isn't that strange?

not sure about S22 but I think my S21 still takes nicer shots? But camera is not bad i think. despite very similar camera hardware compared to OnePlus Ace, the results are noticeably better, even in low light (even though Ace has OIS, Reno8 Pro doesn't)

link to camera samples in original resolution.

Yes! After seeing the photos. I guess that Reno 8 Pro camera is no better than S22 for sure! 🀭

i did a telephoto shot using the Oppo and using the iphone 12pro.
the Oppo resolution when zoomed is less sharp.
Having seen S22 vs iPhone 13pro, i think both are about the same.

Suggest you try some sample shots using some reference phones.

Anyone using the reno 8 pro? How is the overall user experience? I noticed the camera lacks OIS, will it affect shaking hand during photo or video taking?

Planning to get one myself but not sure should I go for it or not. :(

I noticed recently Challenger has reduced Reno 8 price by about $100.

Reno 8T has seen declining pricing in the last few weeks.

Prices may go down further when Reno 10 comes on.
