自去年11月到今年3月间,本地共出现8845起、冠病患者再次感染冠病的病例。

卫生部长王乙康以书面答复国会议员的提问时透露,再次染病的冠病患者中,大多数年龄在60岁以下,而且症状轻微。其中一名患者病情严重,被送入加护病房治疗;另有两名患者不治。

To ask the Minister for Health (a) how many cases of COVID-19 reinfections have been detected in Singapore since November 2021; (b) whether there are any significant differences in healthcare outcomes for reinfected patients in Singapore; (c) what proportion of COVID-19 patients admitted to ICU are reinfected patients; and (d) what is the demographic breakdown of COVID-19 reinfection cases

Written Answer

From 1 November 2021 to 25 March 2022, 8,845 cases of reinfection were detected in Singapore. The vast majority of reinfection cases are mild, with one case requiring ICU admission and two deaths reported. The majority of reinfection cases are below 60 years of age.

wah finally release the figure.
How they know is reinfection but not that the virus not totally cleared inside the body ?

Rubbish. What's the point of such questions?

She should be demanding a reply from PAP when and what are they going to do to help citizens with the rising costs of living.

Must note that his definition of "mild" is not the same as what some of us who just had covid experienced hor
somemore got reinfected DIED.
means one time don't die, second time might. second time don't die third time might.
plus long covid x 1 chance x 2 chance so on and on.
Vaccines didn't prevent infection also didn't prevent long covid.
