Hello,
I'm not at all familiar with hardware, but I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me why I'm not getting this to work. I have a monitor set up for 'paired coding', where two developers sit at one monitor that can accommodate 2 keyboards and 2 mice. The monitor has a Bizlink KS10008 Displayport To Dual Link Dvi-D active Adapter coming out of it and going to a docking station via its Displayport. We are changing from these docking stations to port replicators that don't have a Displayport. The new port replicators only have DVI connections. I thought I could just use an adapter to get the male Displayport converted to a male DVI to plug into the port replicator. I already had a male Displayport to male DVI cable. Now I just had to figure out how to connect the 2 male Displayports. I bought a converter for that as well.
I get no picture at all on the monitor. I'm at a loss how to proceed. I figured I'd be in good shape if all the cables fit together. Below are the parts I'm using. I can't post images or real URLs, I guess.
