Perhaps you should wait for the GSS, Panasonic SG could start their promo on Friday. If its similar to past years, the promo could be a combination of cash rebate, free original battery or NTUC vouchers. Give a call to Alan photo, SLR rev or MS color to know whats the price like for the TZ80 (recommending these retailers since they tend to have ready stock of panasonic cameras).

I'm waiting to see what panasonic has for this GSS too as I have another model in mind.

I visited a few retailers last month. Price for the G7 ranges around $850-$950.

Yo dude, Panasonic SG has some GSS promos, G7 is included, here is my post from Clubsnap:

Seems like Panasonic SG hasn't updated their website or FB to reflect this current promotion. Redemption started today, I went down to collect my gifts to confirm the promo exists.

G7 and GX8: Free bag and 8 GB SD card at retailer (cannot confirm if other retailers follow). Collect a 25mm F1.7 lens, original battery and 16gb Panasonic UHS-I Class 3 card at Panasonic SG.

GF8: Collect an original battery, 16GB High speed card and Acam295 Arm strap at Panasonic SG

TZ110: Collect an original battery and 16 GB High speed card at Panasonic SG

Current street price for the G7 is around $830, ridiculous value considering that in addition to the camera body you get 2 lenses which should cover most scenarios, 2 batteries and a SD card with fast enough write speeds for 4k (20 mins).

Btw, check out Harvey Norman Funan if they haven't shifted out yet. Their prices are similar to mom and pop retailers or even lower for some cameras.

Harvey Norman and Best Denki sales assistants will inform you about the promo straight after mentioning the price. Just give a call to any branch in town to confirm that they are having this promo before you go down.

Was playing with some cameras today at Best Denki, saw them retailing the TZ110 at $999, looks like a very tiny discount.

It comes with a free 16GB card (probably a slow card) and case, the high speed card and battery has to be redeemed from Panasonic SG.

just to share that after checking ard with some shops, the Tz110 is going for abt 890 to 900. most shops give a small SD card, and a few shops a case as well. however not all have a tie in for the Panasonic promo still end of this mth for a free extra batt as well an additional 16gb SD card.

bought mine today from MS color in the end
