Have 6d to kill and just wondering whether it is worth it to make a trip there. Anyone can advise?

Pattaya main attraction is beach and those pub/bars/agogo show thingy. You might wanna considered again

ya... the beach is just like our east coast..
other then that is.. pub/ agogo.. not really good place for kids.

Maybe you maybe want to consider to view sun flower/ farm, good experience.

why not consider Cha Am and Hua Hin?

From Bangkok, go to Kanchanaburi or Ayutthaya, if you have already been to those attractions nearer Bangkok like the floating market and Dreamworld.
Pattaya is not what it used to be.
