Don’t think it makes much of a difference to SG yet as I think the hold up is with LTA, or at least how they program the card reader.

If UK can have express transit with credit card and Singapore can’t, it points to the issue with us rather than Apple.

Likely because of the CEPAS system? But I don’t understand how Express Transit doesn’t work when Apple Pay works.

It’s been a few years lol but I recall someone posted or mentioned it’s due to how the bus scanners are set up. Not having the proper code or tag, which makes it non compliant and that’s why Singapore can’t use express transit. Maybe due to CEPAS

But somehow samsung pay can detect when it's a transit scanner and automatically use the preset default card without unlocking phone. So its quite unclear why apple cannot do the same thing

Is anyone getting a de facto declined transactions from Apple in-app purchases? Note: The card is linked to Apple Pay in the account.

I have the same problem with Apple Pay in-app using DBS as well, thought it was my issue.
Even NUHS App also reject (most of the time)
Other bank cards have no issues.

Card is enabled for all sorts of txn

Eh. I found out that it was me disabling the Contactless payment. Re-enabled it and it’s fine now.
