paypal donate button

is there anyway to create such button into my website as i think they have already removed this feature for country like Singapore.

or is there any alternative like send money feature and pay to this email address with certain amount they want?

thanx 4 ur help. I tried copy the codes into my wordpress, in the quick preview mode, it is able to show the donate button but once I saved and published the page, the button is missing.

do u know whether is it feasible to use a text hyperlink instead such as based on the website you give me with query string?

I am not sure whether can I just form the URL like this which business I put my paypal email? But the links seems to work.

Please let me know if I used it correctly or is there any other more query string for me to use.

replace the "this is the code what you have copied" with the email link when creating the button.

Eh I'm sorry to bump this up as Im having a relatively similar question.

But the thing is the guide link provided is for USA's paypal. Singapore's Paypal have nothing related to a donation button at all.

So how do you all actually got up with the code and is getting times on which donation icon to change to?

While the guide using USA paypal tells you to click merchant tool, paypal.com.sg
Had nothing close to the name. Merchant services link is nothing but a whole chunk page of useless ads. ow well.


Even though I managed to find a button page by googling the site, it only has Buy now, Shopping cart, Subscription buttons to choose from. No donation buttons.

It can't be done - unfortunately

I had the same problem and chanced upon this post.
I contacted paypal and this was their reply - in short, it can't be done if you're based in Singapore.

This solution does not work anymore too. Seems like Singaporeans got no right to receive money in any way

May be due to this: PayPal Stops Personal Payments In Singapore | TechCrunch

Singapore government may be clamping down on personal fund transfers and payments to prevent money laundering, thus forbidding Paypal from providing this service.

So in short, payments and donations to individuals are outlawed or impossible in Singapore.
