The BIOS battery is right there at the bottom. It's always user serviceable.

Yep, it's that round flat button battery that's easily replaced. Usually, even if CMOS battery is dead, I thought that date/Time, etc setting in BIOS will still keep as long as computer is plugged into wall socket, and PSU switch at back isn't turned off....or, am I mistaken?

Battery usually at btm near PCIE slot. Most common Batt are the 2032 and 2025. Can be found easily at value or ABC store.

Sent from Samsung SM-G975F using GAGT

Alamak! Forgot that new mobos got all these fancy armor/covers , now I'm worried about changing CMOS battery for my X570 Aorus Xtreme......in a few years' time that is.=:p:D

Does OP still have the user manual? Should be able to get the info within the manual.

Up Close/Under the Hood
By removing nine screws at the back of the M6F, you can remove both the steel back plate and the plastic ROG Armor. Unfortunately, if you prefer to use the motherboard without the ROG Armor, you will have to sacrifice using the back plate too. As you can see by the pictures below, the screws that hold the back plate on travel through the motherboard and thread into the ROG Armor, forcing you to use both pieces or none at all.
