PC does not wake from sleep

having another issue with my rig :/

there are times where my system does NOT wake from sleep.
the screen just remains blank/black

any idea why?
the fans everything still turn

Cause it's tired... Hahaha nah kidding how do you wake it? Sometimes clicking in mouse and keyboard doesn't work need press the on button .

Oh psps I read until the fans everything not turn. Yepp is monitor my monitor got same issue when I sleep they thought I shut down that's why need restart the monitor again

Try switching off PCIe Link State Power Management under Power Options>Change plan settings>Change advanced power settings>PCI Express. I found it worked for me.

Disable sleep function should fix the issue.

hmm the sleep function is useful for me though :X

Try switching off PCIe Link State Power Management under Power Options>Change plan settings>Change advanced power settings>PCI Express. I found it worked for me.

will try that.. but that would mean the GFX can't go into sleep right

Yup I don't think it will. I think the problem is with the drivers controlling the ZeroCore power management thing where it can switch off the graphics card or something like that. It just can't start again once its switched off. :s22:

I turned off Link Management... and it happened again :/

the thing is.. I think there's something wrong the system itself.. if I press the power button once (it should shutdown) but it doesn't

it's as if the system froze while sleeping

I've encountered the problem intermittently on my desktop before. My situation wasn't related to the monitor. Resolved by turning off power at the power point and turning it back on after a while. Googled it and found it to be a fairly common problem.

hmm did your research tell you what's causing it?
