Hi guys, I'm currently having an issue with my PC and I'm not sure what's the issue.
I used to own a i7-7700K and Gtx 1070 rig, everything used to be stable.
We built a new Ryzen 5 1400 and RX 5700XT PC and things have been hell after that.
I have this issue whereby my pc won't boot intermittently, stuck at the black screen with "stuck spinning dots" (as in it's just stuck, they're not moving/spinning) and I'll have to restart the pc and it keeps doing that until it decides to boot into windows normally. Sometimes when this issue occurs, it'll occasionally state that boot drive is not found when I restart the pc.
On top of that, the amd drivers are so bad. Non stop stuttering and downclocking issues, black screen etc. Have ddu the drivers for a lot of times and I can never seem to solve the problem.
I've:
Switched my nvme SSD for my old Samsung 860 Evo and the same issue happens
Switched my 5700XT for the GTX1070 and the same issue happens
Switched keyboard and mouse and wifi adapters, same issue happens.
Used ram at 2133mhz and stock timings, still happens
Done fresh windows installation, twice
PSU was newly bought, it's a 650W super flower leadex III ARGB gold.
I'm starting to wonder if it's the cpu or the Mobo. Have contacted tech dynamic and was told to go down for rma, but can Mobo really cause it?
I miss my Intel + Nvidia build, this full amd has been hell :/
