PC power button blinks cant boot

Using ASUS G10AC for quite sometime till one day when switching on, power button starts to blink but not able to boot nothing on the screen, even when changing CMOS batt and taking out everything unplugging everything except with a single ram. Result still the same when power on power button blink but not booting. Could this be a failure of psu if so can anyone recommend reasonable price with same dimension of psu to fit the casing, as Im not sure is this the failure of present psu if is not i will be wasting money on new psu.
The defaultpsu for G10AC is delta_dps500ab6_a_500w.

did you replace your motherboard? cos last time you said your mobo temps very high.

Hey you still remember, the temp was high when I used a few software to measure but when I use an infrared temp gun it has different reading which is alot lower so i suspect the temp measurement from the software must be a faulty sensor on mobo.

Blinking of power button and not able to boot up might be due to faulty motherboard as what @naked123
mentioned as you seen to have temperature issue with it. Infrared red temperature gun are for measuring surface temperature. Measuring software are more accurate for measuring temperature of computer components.

As for psu, your current model is hard to find, since is almost the same as standard ATX ps/2 psu. You can try
a difference one.

i h ave the same issue in the past. and the root cause is faulty RAM. I removed the RAM (i have two RAMs) and no such issue anymore.

Everything works until when I started dusting off thick dust from motherboard and PSU by nippon paint brush, I even take out the fan from PSU to brush off. Al these I had done in the past but when i fixed back everything, PSU working fan is spinning is only power button from the pc starts blinking but not booting. I have been browsing online for answers it narrow down either PSU was damaged I may brush off too hard on the capacitor or mobo was damaged. But I need a second opinion from anyone who encountered the power button blinking but nothing on screen.

Never use a brush to clean your pc components. It is very dangerous.
Get an electric leaf blower instead like in the video.




More powerful ones.

Blow the components like once per month for dust maintenance. I get the least powerful ones from shopee at 40 bucks for the purpose of long term PC maintenance and for other household cleaning purposes. Doing so, you do not need to dismantle your pc parts which risks problems you are seeing now.

If your power is blinking then you may have short-circuit the motherboard or PSU. If you are using a full modular PSU, you can easily replace one and check. My guess is either your motherboard or PSU that is causing the problem.

If everything not working then have to take to PC shop.

Ordered a cheap A520i from Amazon and replaced the mobo and everything back to normal.

At first thought is PSU problem. Using paper clip test, the PSU fans start to spin and all my RGB fans power up. So PSU not the problem.

Ordered a cheap A520i from Amazon and replaced the mobo and everything back to normal.

My greatest fear is to replace mobo and mine is intel LGA1150 Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz, no idea where and what model mobo to get sigh.

i would suggest getting 2nd hand cpu, rams and a brand new motherboard

It's wise not to be too save when come to electronics/electrical items, you end up paying more. Discard your computer

Appreciate your thought, I just need to find a better suitable than the default H87MPRO mobo to replace using back same ram n cpu that all as everything else is working. Not going to spend alot more than a replaced mobo when all parts are still working.
