Hi All,

I am facing a problem. MyPc speaker suddenly stopped making sound when I was on youtube. I tried reinstalling the driver and re-plugging the speaker but still not working.

The. I tried plugging in a spare portable speaker and my earphone to the audio jack at the back of my PC, and both worked, hence its not my Pc problem.

What I dun understand is, how come I can hear sound when i llug in my earphones into the above mentikned speaker and still can hear sound, but not the speaker itself. Is my speaker gonner? Or is it the aux cable that’s gone?

Tha ks in advance for any advice or answers.

if I understand properly

u connect as per normal your "faulty speaker" : no sound from speaker

so there is another 3.5mm port on your "faulty speaker", and u plug an earphone inside... : surprisingly there is sound from the earphone

is it like this?

if it is so....

the 3.5mm port is just another passage way from your soundcard, your speaker amplifier probably blow

Yes bro, this is what I am experiencing. I was going to buy a new aux cable initially, hoping that it is just aux cable problem.
So from your explanation, that means I have to buy a new speaker liao..

My speaker is a creative speaker btw, I was hoping that it will last more than 2 years.

that 3.5mm port is a convenient port ... so u can plug your earphones to it... without reaching to your computer ports
