PC sudden shut down advice please~!

Hi all,

My PC suddenly shut down during use today.

Now when press power button, front fans + rear fan + CPU fan will spin briefly for a split second then stop again. Won't boot, and no beep sound. But casing power LED stays lit.

Removed both the RAM and tried 1 by 1 in different slot, no use.

Is it the mobo? Jin ma fan...

PC is 3 years old. Haiz, damn sianz.

Change power cable
Change power point
Take out GPU, use onboard
Pull out if theres is any SSD/HDD connected

Your psu might be the problem.

That doesn't mean your PSU is fine. Charging device is the 5v supply. If the 12v supply is kaput, your desktop won't boot!

Ok so if 12V supply only spoilt, will the CPU fan and rear fan (connected to mobo) spin? Because now is when power on, they spin briefly and stop.

Is CPU spoilt possible? But no POST, no beep code leh...

Bring your rig to Nigel at PC Care & Solution to test, SLS #02-32 if you don't has spare to test.

A lot of thing can cause it, I had similar issue last time, end up is cpu fan spoil and the pc keep restart. I also thought it work cos it spin,but in the end, the pc only boot up when I unplug it

my PSU Spoil also same. scenario as u. swap a PSU to test to know the problem.

i have spare PSU when i encounter the issue straight away RMA.
