[PC Upgrade] CPU+Mobo+RAM Upgrade Advice

Well i had that mobo in my pc recently. The 1x8 pin is for normal usage and 1x4 cpu power connector is for extreme over clocking. I cant say anything much about overclocking as I just a newbie as you.

Many of the forums seem to say 1x8 Pin is sufficient even for overclocking. The additional 1x4 Pin, like you mentioned, is for extreme (Liquid nitrogen) overclocking.

Hoping to get a definitive answer failing which I will try to contact MSI.

1x 8pin is more than enough for your normal usage.
