PCOS Insurance?

Diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), insurance agent went for underwriting with some insurance agencies but best deal was exclusion for PCOS so if anything happens there it won't be covered...

Am worried if there is problems in the future, are there any other solutions for me?

What insurance did you apply for? It seems to me like a health/medical cover that 'naturally' will lay such exclusion.

To what extend is the exclusion? Some exclusions can be far and wide to say 'any complication originated from the condition' and for PCOS may incl diabetes if diabetes is due to PCOS. Study the exclusion carefully to understand the implications.

If there are problems in the future, fall back to Medishield (I am assuming you are referring to medical cover). For IP, accept the exclusion and monitor from thereon as more medical conditions may surface as age catches on.

Worst case there is always the Medishield Life fallback, so you will need to be aware of the claim limits under that.

Hospitalization insurance.

"We do not cover any medical expenses incurred, including but
not limited to medical consultations, radiologic and laboratory
investigations, hospitalization and surgery which are directly or
indirectly related to Female Generative Organs (excluding Breasts) ,and/or its complications and its cancers thereof" this is what the insurance company sent back.

If you’re currently only on MediShield Life, take the exclusion and upgrade first before you find out more issues in future.

If the cyst can be removed, the insurers might be able to remove the exclusion but that is not guaranteed.
