Building a new computer mostly to play games.
Case:Corsair Spec 03 Mid Tower - $89
Motherboard+Processor: Z97 Extreme 4 + i5 4960k -$584
Ram:Corsair Pro Vengeance 1866Mhz - $135
SSD:SAMSUNG 250GB 850 EVO - $199
CPU cooler:CoolerMaster Hyper 212X - $69
Graphic card- Sapphire R9 280X 3GB Tri-X Vapor-X STD- $385
Power Supply-Seasonic M12II-520W Modular 80+ - $99
Total: SGD $1,560
Monitor
ELL 23” S2340L IPS LED (3 Yrs) - $235
Memory for the while will just be an SSD to keep Dota 2,OS and steam.
In the future a WD black 1 TB will be added. Going for a black/blue look.
Do you know whether they would be any major difference between Asrock extreme z97 extreme 4 vs msi z97 pcmate vs msi z97 guard pro vs msi z97s SLI Plus?
Planning to overclock it and going for a black and blue look, hence the choice of board. Note the different in prices and whether the different features justify the cost.
Please help to provide feedback in parts i should switch out for to make it more affordable/upgrade the parts for a few more dollars.
