Hi all as the title states I am scheduled to be going for a PES C recourse in April I was wondering can anyone tell me what its like?

I haven't passed my FFI but the MO in my camp just wants me to go because I'm still a recruit and said I cannot ORD if I don't do BMT. He says got a lot of admin issues.

I was put as a temporary PES E for 9 months and I still see my specialist and all that but my status ran out before my next appointment with him and I cant schedule a sooner one. My Knee still isn't recovered but I hear PES C has no running?

Any help would be much appreciated

there is no such thing as u cannot ORD because of your rank. and it is crap that your MO is telling u that and that will have lots of admin issue.

if u are really unfit for bmt, won't it be worst for him to clear your FFI and if an injury were to happen because u were still unfit?

in the event if your specialist appt is much later den your FFI, an extension of temp PES has to be given unless you have made a firm mind to go for bmt. The MO in this situation will consider, based on your condition, to clear u but u will have to sign an indemnity.

n i have no idea where u got ur info from. there is no such thing as PES C has no running.

n also, bmt recourse is a much happier bmt as compared to newly enlisted enlistees. as disciplinary standards are lower, as more lee-way is given.

Thats what I was thinking, I'm still recovering from an ACL tear and whilst I am much better I still have problems with very tight muscles around and cramping. The MO was saying its a huge admin problem. My specialist appointment is 1 month after the FFI but he wouldn't listen so I sort of resigned my self to just goign.

Really? He told me you have to march but no running in PES C. The one thing I'm worried about is they revocate me after because they think I'm okay since completed BMT.

never pass BMT can ORD, those admin issue is rubbish. He probably meant he himself have a lot of paperwork to do.

But honestly Pes C bmt already cater for people for pes C status, I don't think you will have any issue handling it with your current injury.

If i'm you, I will just go for it and not waste time. Unless that is your goal......

anyway, 3 conditions to clear bmt:

- attended range
- attended grenade throwing
- can't exactly remember. but not able to jog is not an issue

Yup still excuse lower limbs

if u still have ex lower limbs throughout the entire recourse, then u are safe.. most of the lower limb things u dun have to do.

PES C got alot of excuse this excuse that 1, so i dun think its an issue

It will just be live firing, grenade throw and field camp..(high key activities) which is very short 1.

Correct, unless your medical status/excuse prohibits any of those activities. Do note that every coy's procedures are diff though. I didn't participate in all 3 still pass out :o

- Attend range
- Attend nade throw
- Attend IFC and/or field camp
