Hi all,

I just received my pes status, which is B2L2.

How slack isit? What is the difference between pes C, B2 and B1,A?

My medical conditions is:

High Myopia >900 per sight
Hearing Problems

which have been picked up during the medical screening.

Lets say i want to geng to pes C, isit still possible for me to submit letters etc for my medical condition for a pes review?

Oh and roughly when will the earliest a poly grad can be asked to enlist? i graduate in April.

Thanks!

Pes B2L2 was former Pes C1L1.

They seemed to have pushed up the pes grading for those that do not have serious physical issues...with issues mostly that usually deals with high degree of shortsightedness and other minor issues.

So unfortunately for your sorry ass, you are not able to down pes to pes C.

The difference of PES A and B are only on black and white. In reality both status status usually means "fit" to do anything. When you are in PES C, then its possible that you'll end up as a clerk or store man etc.

My right eye is almost 1000 degrees, my left eye almost 900. I also have flat feet and whenever I walk (don't even talk about run) for about 10 mins or more without stopping, the area just before my heel hurts like ****. And I got PES B.

800 degrees is not big sh*t lor with half or more of the population blind as bats with high myopia. As for hearing problem, well you are obviously not deaf because if you were, already PES F liao. So if you can hear, what is the problem? At the most the instructor shouts louder at you, big whoop.

Wouldn't be surprised. Nowadays lack of manpower, PES B can be deployed almost any where a PES A goes. Even for specky. Last time wear specs can forget about flying a jet or copter. Now you can go for lasik and they will admit you.

Anyway, the PES status is a joke. Did you know Fandhi Ahmad is PES E? Can run and jump on the field but is PES E. There were two guys in my coy last time represent SAFSA for rugby. Rugby with all the running and rough tackling they can do. But they are PES C9 L3. :s8:

And when you try to sign on as storeman when you are PES C (my cousin is C2 and he tried), they tell you cannot because not medically fit for the job. But for NSF, even PES E can become storeman. So WTF?!

If a PES E is considered medically fit enough to be a storeman for his NS, why is a PES C2 not medically fit enough to sign on as storeman?

There has been a misconception about physical fitness and medical fitness.

A sportsman can be physically fit, I.e. Can run can jump can whatever, but that doesn't mean he is medically fit.

He can be blind in one eye or be hard of hearing but that doesn't stop him from running or jumping right?
