If I create new folder, I place some photo into this new folder, how come the original photo inside the default folder (recently added) is still there?
If still there mean the file size will be duplicated again in my new folder?

No. When you add photos to a photo folder, it simply mirrors the photos. It doesn't create an additional copy.

it does not mirror, the album works like tagging or playlist, you can assign a photo to different album (tags/playlist), but only one physical picture file in its original folder.

Isn't it funny to have photo inside main folder of recently added and then another set if I were to mirror in another new created folder?

There is only one folder to store all your photos, it is called "All Photos" if you enable iCloud Photo Library, or "Camera Roll" if you don't enable it.

There is no other folder in Photos app, they call Album, which I explained, Album = Playlist = Tag. "Recent Added" is also an Album. Album is not folder, adding a photo to an album does not mean to mirror or copy photo, it is simply to tag that photo with album name so you can locate that phot with different tag names.

There is no such thing called Copy Photo in Photos app, you can't move photos around.

on mac's photos app, you can create folder, folder is used to group albums only.

in iOS and OS X, if you use the built-in photos app, you can't and you don't need to physically organize your photos like what you did in Windows, everything is inside photo library bundle, you don't need to worry where and how the photo is stored, photos are displayed by date and location by default, if you want to organize it in your way, you just need to tag it.
