Please advise on my itinerary

Need driver and recommendation for route in taichung.

Hi guys,

I will be reaching taipei on 20apr at 540am at taipei. Will be spending a night in taipei XMD hotel. Next day will take HSR in the early morning to taichung.

We will be spending 2 nights in taichung and 1 night in cingjing minsu.
Will need advice and recommendation to get a driver for the vist to the following places. Thanks in advance guys. Will appreciate if expert can help.

Day 1 taichung
Transfer from taichung hsr station > taichung station (cityinn plus hotel) > deposit luggage> sun moon lake > Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village(one piece) > Feng Jia Night market > hotel

Day 2 taichung
Carton king > lavender cottage > 18 degree

Day 3 taichung - Cingjing
check out taichung and proceed to CingJing minsu(sunnydale minsu)
Is it better to take a bus(e-go) or hire a cab driver.

check in minsu > qing qing farm visit > Hot spring

Was wondering, is it better to visit carton king, lavender cottage and the qing qing farm when we are in CingJing or no diff?

Are this places accessible by public transport or better to get a driver?
Anyone can intro your driver please ^^

If u have the money to spend, for taichung trip.. u can use roundTAIWANround service.

They did a great job in my itinenary, transportation

Anyway, to cingjing farm.. public transport take 2.5hrs according to the website. If time constraint, very limited place u can visit. I took one day for puli waterfall, carton king, lil swiss garden, old england and cing jing farm using their service. Sml i felt there is no need to visit, a bit waste of time. Lucky i only use half a day. Xinshe castle must go, v nice place hope it help

Your one day trip of puli waterfall, carton king little Swiss garden old England and cingjing was definitely a lot of coverage. Where was you based? Taichung or cingjing to kick off the journey? Our purpose of gng SML is for the Formosa
Was quoted 18+k tw for a 3 day tour of Taichung+SML +cingjing. Is it consider ex?

But that depends on 18+K split among how many person.

But we will be dropping Taroko due to the long traveling time, as we will be based in taichung and cingjing. After that will be back to taipei for shifeng and jiufeng plus shop shop shop ^^

But we will be dropping Taroko due to the long traveling time, as we will be based in taichung and cingjing. After that will be back to taipei for shifeng and jiufeng plus shop shop shop ^^

Take it slow and enjoy la. Taiwan is pretty accessible nowadays compared to 3 years back. Now they have developed and work with the local bus transport to offer bus services to places of attractions. Check this out 台湾好行 which do offers a great choices of other places less travelled.

If there is a huge crowd, it means it's very popular and also means, it's too commercialized.

I would have taken their plan if I have not plan only 2 days in Taichung Instead of HSR, i asked them to pick and send me back to the hotel. My tour guide is Mr Wang, he's really nice guy. You can try to look for him, photos taken are really nice. They gave me about 130 photos (all edited) - really look like casual wedding photos.

I think you can give SML a miss.. nothing much to see the rest is still worth a visit.

I am surprise by your suggestion of giving SML a miss. I wonder SML is it the same feeling as visiting Hakone Lake Ashi? Except there is no pirate ship. Our purpose to SML is to tour the JiuZhu theme park.

Btw, kind of stress. The holiday is next month and we just started booking and reading on materials.

Cant really understand the words on their webpage as the chinese characters are so difficult to understand T.T

Btw, can someone please correct me if i am wrong.

Do we take free-go bus and dropped at taipei main station and change to train towards XMD?

Dont think they stop at XMD nowadays but yea, can take freego or kuoguang(NT125/pax) bus to TMS & then metro over to Ximen Station if you want and if i nv rem wrongly, you can actually sit Kuoguang to their bus terminal(Just slightly further down from TMS) and they have a shuttle service(Nt sure if FOC) over to XMD..

I hearsay from forum but nv had to enquire about it since my accommodation is always around TMS..

I am not a photgrapher, just someone who appreciate their planning for my trip. I asked them before posting the plan and sharing the tour guide's fb page.. cause its not mine at sml, there's nth much, maybe because i nv go to the theme park?

Yours is one mth away, my trip was planned one week away - tgt with air tix and hotel.. so u still have a lot of time

Like what i said earlier, mine was a last min trip (one week planning time). I asked a lot of driver but all said they are booked. I was expecting roundtaiwanround to reject my booking since mine was so last min. I was very surprised and happy that they get back within one day and confirmed the booking 2 days before my trip.

I think i Can get a cab driver for 3000 ntd, but the experience will not be the same. So if i were to go back again, i will ask for their help. Haha, i think enough of my suggestion, up to u to decide

If you suffer from motion sickness, you should get some motion sickness meds or one of the motion sickness bands. Don't let it spoil your entire trip!

I have seen recommendation by several ppl recommending Taiwan DaGeDa. Which terminal will you be getting from? We are arriving at around the same time. I am flying by scoot. First time taking their service.
