Amazon:
USD 133.86 Corsair Professional Series HX 750 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Gold (HX750)
USD 177.99 Samsung Electronics 840 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Single Unit Version Internal Solid State Drive MZ-7TE250BW
USD 135.65 Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL9 @1.5V UDIMM 240-Pin Memory BLS2CP8G3D1609DS1S00
USD 214.99 HIS 7950 IceQ Boost Clock 3GB GDDR5 PCI-E Graphics Card H795QC3G2M
USD 33.24 Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2)

Thinking of pairing this with:
SGD 540 Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core + Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H ATX LGA1150 from Tradepac

for a total damage of SGD 890 + 549 = 1439

I'm thinking to run this on an open bed inside a book shelf on my table. It seems to be a good idea. If this proves to be a bad decision, it's never too late to buy a casing.

I'm going for 16GB ram because I plan to run a VM in parallel for daily use. That way I can split the memory 8GB each.

The choice for the HIS GPU is due to budgeting and I reckon that I am not too particular with playing games with the highest settings and if I'm no longer happy with the performance, I can get another one and Xfire it.

All comments are appreciated guys, I hope I made good selections.

Thanks

Work out the calculation. If can save 200 sgd at least. I would say it's ok to go. After all sgd200 can almost get a ssd from amazon liao.
