Wrong sub forums?

Normally for that price range, a desktop is a good form of investment with much better performance over a laptop.

Not unless you want to bring out to game, go school skip boring lectures, or play with friends LAN gaming, or work related that may need a laptop then a laptop is worth investing.

The "gaming" part of you laptop will last 1 year only... get it only if you are willing to play future games at low and or reduced res....

agree, notebooks for gaming not worth it.
although I've seen an ROG notebook with a Nvidia 760/770M @ $2.1K but add abit more and you can get a much better gaming desktop.

advice is, dont. use tht money and get a proper gaming desktop. spending 2k on a gaming laptop is a waste of money.

I bought a G75VX last year. Considered top of the line. And now, its considered mid range alrdy. the graphics card now pales in comparison when compared to latest model.
