PLS HELP RETAKE OS OR PRIVATE? :(

I'm asking on behalf of my friend who took Os this year. Her results are:

Eng- c6
Maths-d7
Humans and POA- b4
Chinese-b3

She's not sure where to go now as she was not posted to any of her JAE choices. Should she retake Olevels or go into a private school?
If private school, which schools and courses are recognized? She's not interested in it, business and engineering. Only interested in humanities courses. Please help?

Recognised is very subjective. Recognised by whom? Most private companies do accept private graduates while government and stat boards usually take in students from local institutions only. Private diploma will never be able to get into local university, must also consider that. Diploma in counselling can do what? Literally no job prospect for a private counselling diploma holder. Must be a degree/masters to be a counsellor. The job is also not so widely available, most are within government sectors like MOE and MSF, which don't hire much, if any, private grads.
