I nv even bother to go Danshui one..

If go Shilin on the day of Danshui then u remove the one before that..

And if my memory serves me right, Taipei Confucius Temple(臺北孔子廟) is around Shilin area also..

You can consider Jinguashi before Jiufen on D8..

sorry but er what issit about the danshui night market that's not attractive other than size? how small actually? this ang moh blog kinda different leh.and his bog quite informative actually.

hi I kinda revamped the itineary a bit, cause I realise e 1st round i didn't put in e dates & messed up quite a bit like wufenpu ended up on mon & national museum on a non free day

could u check if it looks better now? & i'm still having doubts if i should go for national museum cause from trip advisor review, it seems like tourists locuts esp from cheena is abundant every single day which will make yr tour kinda sucky.....

9days in taipei is a lot... i think you can squeeze jiufen and shifen or even wulai, if your doing free and easy, no point going to those historical places if you have no guide explaining to you about the cultural/historical facts.

Places like Taipei 101... just stand outside the building and take a pic, and your done with it... best view of taipei 101 is at Elephant peak

for me its more of scenery and photography spots that interests me...

1.national palace museum can go... but only if you have a guide.. otherwise is just see see look look like any museum in singapore, and you can't take pictures when your in there... no cameras allowed if im not wrong

2.the cable car is worth going, bring you up to the mountain area, the air is diff and more fresh.

 Head for airport
