Pocket translator or earbuds

Thinking of getting a pocket translations

below are the options

I had a pocket talk 1st gen and after 2 years free data sim, it failed to work or update

saw time kettle and looks cools with the ear buds which can do instant translation for conversation but a bit apprehensive

then vasco has unlimited life time connectivity

so caught in a dilemma , anyone can share if they actually use any of them and your experience ?
