Yes, on my 50th day of usage.

I did not even use it heavily...

If I go to the service centre, it should be fully covered by the warranty right? ie. I don't have to pay for anything right?
Shud follow the serial number and/or receipt...

Just to check, have POCO/XM updated you?
My experience usually within a day or two they respond.
Yes, they have fixed and returned the device to me as of Friday, 15 August.

The entire turnaround took less than 24 hours, from handing in the device to collecting it back.

There was no fuss, they only needed the IMEI to check the warranty.

Overall, the experience was positive.

The only drawback is that my device should not have had to suffer the screen line issue.

However, after checking the retail box, I found that my device was manufactured in June 2024. I suppose the 1 year plus of storage could have increased the likelihood of time-related failures, such as the screen line I experienced.

Yup, their turnaround pretty fast usually.
Did they explain/you ask what was the cause? And your warranty still runs as per original or it's only like 1 month from repair collection?

Nope, they did not comment on the cause.

Warranty still runs as per original since they didn't mention anything about warranty or changes made to it. I should still have a good 10+ months of warranty.
