[Poly SOS] Regarding Adobe Creative Cloud software and windows HELP

Hello HWZ,

Alright I'll cut to the chase, so my friend has this: Asus ROG G751JT
Intel core i7 4710HQ
8GB Ram DDR3
Geforce 970M
Win 8.1
Directx 11.0

This is his course requirements:

The problem is, he has to render graphics as he's in 3D animation and design, and the software he has to use(Adobe Creative Cloud) is only supported by Macbooks(claimed by the website) and with Google, I realised that if you buy the official software, it is actually supported by both Mac AND windows, meaning you can install it on 1 mac and 1 pc. Right now, the polytechnic states that the software is customized for the Apple platform.

So my question is for the Adobe creative cloud, is it possible that the polytechnic we are in (Ngee Ann) only supplies Mac software to cut costs?
He really does not want to buy a Macbook or get the software for windows instead, as he would have to fork up more money.

Thank you for your help:s12:

The only reason the school recommends you a Mac because the lecturers themselves are using Mac so in theory its easier to teach you.

But that's not the case. Windows is fine.

YES that is exactly what I am implying.
Thing is, my friend in 3D Animation and Arts. Honestly speaking he said the software is windows compatible and the school is SUPPOSED to provide windows software if it provides mac. In theory yes, but if logical troubleshooting actually helps him, then he will not buy a mac.

He ****ing hates apple **** because its overpriced, and he is reluctant as hell because he just bought a gaming laptop:s13:

Right now, his plan is to only get one in year 2 if he is forced to, meaning that his lecturer, class and project mates all psycho him to get one, which isn't very cost effective at all.

Thanks for your reply.:D
