Maju bus number 96 runs every 15 minutes (peak period) to 30 minutes (off-peak period) from 6.30am to 10pm from Johore Bahru's Larkin Bus & Taxi Terminal to Pontian Kecil. Causeway Link provides direct bus services between Singapore's Jurong East MRT station and Pontian Kecil via Gelang Patah, using the Malaysia–Singapore Second Link. The frequency from Pontian Kecil to Singapore is 6 direct buses a day and only 4 in the reverse direction.

In Larkin terminal, Maju 96 bus bay is just beside SBS 170 bus bay, easy to find.

Other buses to Pontian are Mayang Sari and SKMP, but boarding bay at the exit of the terninal, which is the other end.

Bus fare around RM4 or 5+. Buy ticket on the bus, free seating.

Thank for all the information. Just back from Pontian and went up to Kukup. All the information is correct. The old bus terminal had ceased and had shifted to the new bus terminal. Next round, planning a short trip to Hatyai. Thank everyone.
