I have an M1 prepaid number. I want to use this same number in Singtel. Is this possible?

Yes, it can be done. Singtel take in any pre paid number (from other telco too). M1 only take in M1 pre paid card number. Not sure on Starhub.

Prepaid can be ported to another Telco which have prepaid services such as M1, Singtel and Starhub.

Do note that the credit in the prepaid will be forfeited due to different Telco.

Ensure the prepaid is not expired for the porting procedure to work.

Walk in to the Telco shop of your choice, in your case Singtel (or Starhub), and not any other non Telco shops.

Inform the sales staff you want to port prepaid from M1 and you have to buy a new Prepaid SIM from Singtel, before proceeding.
As for the cost is most likely would be the Prepaid SIM card value, as porting is free.

Porting process would be likely done on weekdays about 2300 hours and completed by midnight or so.

Do note that should you want to convert prepaid to postpaid there may have SIM card & activation charges involved.

did this last monday, today noticed the M1 sim lost signal.
when i put in the new singtel sim, it had signal but cannot receive call or sms yet.
when called, the voice says "the Singtel mobile customer is not available".
meaning its in Singtel now but likely have to wait abit more for full activation.

so nowadays, factor in 3-4 days.
