possible to upgrade laptop screen?

currently using a Asuspro p450l which have one of those lousy screen...... is it possible to change to an ips screen? Where in singapore would be a good place to upgrade?

Changing screen requires changing LCD cables sometimes as well.
Will void the warranty of the unit.
Asus service centre does not provide such services definitely.

Hmm IPS panels are preferred over TN panels.

Sorry for the delay, am unable to find much info on your model.
Prices of screens are hundred over (depending on model).

If there's no need, it's advisable not to do a screen swap and instead hook it up to an external monitor.
