Hello,

i would like to check if i can use this power cord in singapore?

This configuration is really weird and google doesnt help.

1. UK Type G plug rated at 13A 250V

2. Cord cap C-13 connector rated at 15A 125V

3. my equipment rated at 230V+/-5% 750W

Will it be safe if we plug the cable into our wall and my amplifier?
My worry is if the cord cap can tahan the voltage.

Thanks!

Not about the amp, more on the voltage. I think the cord cap is just from another manufacturer ba. Okay la, I find some disposable electronics then try plugging it in first and see what happened lol

The cable is rated for application that is nearly 2500w
So 750w is no issue. Make sure you get the plug that comes with fuse. 13a fuse.

Well to be safe... Which TS probably scared burn down his house with his pretty small amp

TS should get 6amp fuse... So fuse blow... Wouldn't catch fire

The video I linked used amp for example, but the same applies for voltage.

The C13 is a standard connector, but depending on where it is sold, it gets different voltage and current rating.

The same thing applies to appliances. Some appliances are clearly 100-240V capable, but depending on where it is sold it may be rated 110V only or 230V only. People who bought Sony BD players from Amazon would know this well.

Take note that for all plugs which rated 13a 250v but on the other end which plug into the psu is only 10a 250v.
