Powerbank charge laptop

[caterham7]

Is there a laptop that can be charged by a powerbank?

Tablets like Surface 3 can be charged by powerbanks, but personally prefer a laptop form factor

Looked at several laptops with similar specs to tablets (e.g. Atom or Pentium) but most use proprietary charging ports

MacBook via the USB C connector. Dell XPS does not support USB power delivery. U may want to wait for Acer Switch Alpha 12, Asus Transformer 3 and Lenovo Yoga 900/900s to see if they charge from power bank.

You will still need a power bank that can supply enough voltage even on USB C. USB C spec is up to 20V, normal power bank can only supply 5V.

(Some model of Everready power bank is capable to do that, even on normal type of notebook socket).

So coincidence, i am also looking for power bank to charge my laptop. So far i only know there is only a few in the market that can charge laptop, they must sort of fulfill the ability to provide 19V output.

The more popular brand is Energizer XP18000A that claim to provide up to 6 extra hrs on laptop and provide free tips for life ( delivery fee we pay) so that when u change laptop still can find the right tips to use. PC show sell at 199 (original price 249).

The next one i know is Enerpad 18000mah which is different from usual power bank as u can just plug yr laptop adapter onto it and it will run AC current through it. so basically its like a portable power point lol. Its more bulky but it offer flexibilty such that u can plug also power yr hair dryer also etcetc. The online price is approx 189.
